Upper Motoneuron Screen

Assessment of Spinal Curves, Movement and Restrictions

Lower Motorneuron Testing – Manual Muscle Testing of Lumbar Myotomes &   Dermatomes

o Positions for Pain Control

o Hip vs. Knee Strategy

Practical – Gait Assessment (Assessment Form Provided)

10:45am – 12:15pm  Practical Hands on Sessions for Assessment of the Hip and Knee

o Palpation & Joint Range End Feel

o Modified Thomas Test

o Craig’s Test

o Thessaly Test

o Pulses of the Leg and Foot

Neural Tension Tests

   o Straight Leg Raise

   o Femoral Nerve Tension Test

   o Slump Test

CPRs for measures that predict treatment outcomes for the SIJ and hip joint.

   o Cluster of Laslett

   o Osteoarthritis of the Hip

   o Menisus Injury
